Even the newest residents of Knoxville know this is the place to be. The food, atmosphere and drinks make Balter Beerworks the best place to hang out after a day packed with meetings. Their happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3-6:30. There is plenty of time for you to try their fish tacos for $1.50 or their hot chicken sliders for $2!
Now, this place doesn’t have a happy hour, but with burgers and bourbon on the menu, who are we to judge? Stock & Barrel uses local and fresh ingredients for all their food. We recommend the Mother Clucker or the Hurt Locker! For our vegetarian readers, they offer the Deadhead. Wash it all down with a glass of whiskey. Neat or on the rocks, this place has you covered.

If you’re craving something with a Latin twist, we’ve got you. Babalu Tapas & Tacos offers amazing tapas, tacos, margaritas and mojitos to cure your workday blues. If you’d rather wait till the weekend, this places offer a weekend brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Beer enthusiasts, rejoice. Here’s the perfect place to grab a cold one with the boys. (And girls!) Blackhorse Pub & Brewery is one of the first craft breweries in Tennessee so you know they know their beers! Order a burger and one of the breweries specialty beers and call it a day. We recommend the Imperial Red Ale!
For an eclectic crowd and cheap drinks, check this place out. Chit chat with locals and bond over how amazing their white truffle flavored popcorn is. The Public House offers a wide assortment of wines and cocktails to pair with their food menu. They have fun house concoctions like Thai and Stop Me (bourbon, Irish cream and house-brewed thai tea) and Bobbing For Apples (apple bourbon, sage cardamom syrup, lemon and ginger bitters) that can turn any day around.

This place has to be a staple on your happy hour list. From 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, you can get a craft pint or mug for $2.50 or margaritas for $3.
